FAQ Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to the most common questions about investing in our funds.
An investment fund is a grouping of assets from different investors, which are invested in different forms of financial instruments (deposits, bonds, shares) depending on the Fund's Investment Policy. The portfolio of financial instruments is managed by experts in the field of investments.
Investment funds can be classified according to several criteria. Thus, depending on the financial instruments in which the funds invest, we can distinguish bond funds, stock funds, and mixed funds (investing in bonds and stocks).
Investment funds are associated with a certain recommended holding period and a certain risk, depending on the financial instruments contained in their structure. Thus, investors with a higher risk tolerance prefer to invest their money in funds composed mainly of stocks, while investors with a lower risk tolerance prefer to invest in funds that invest mainly in bonds or money market instruments.
You can become a member of the investment fund by signing a purchase order at one of the branches of Raiffeisen Bank Albania. If you want to add to your investment in the fund, you can do so at the branch or online through the Raiffeisen ON application.
The minimum investment amount in the fund starts from 5,000 Lekë as an immediate amount and 1,000 Lek in the form of investment plans, depending on the investment fund. Please refer to the individual fund characteristics in the Investment Funds Section regarding the minimum investment amounts for each fund.
Investment funds are regulated entities by the Financial Supervisory Authority. Additionally, each investment fund has a depositary, an independent financial institution licensed by the Supervisory Authority that is responsible for safeguarding the Fund's assets and verifying their value.
The return on investment in the fund depends on market conditions, the characteristics of the fund and the investment strategy that the fund implements. The investment fund cannot guarantee a predetermined fixed return.
There is no time limit for investing in the fund. The investor can increase and decrease the investment at any time.
The investment in the fund is not insured by the deposit insurance agency. This is an international standard for investment funds in all international markets.
